Welcome to the Pirates of the Caribbean Wiki, a site dedicated to be the best source for all manner of common knowledge of the world of Pirates of the Caribbean. Please sign in or create a user name. It's an easy way to keep track of your contributions and helps you communicate with the rest of the pirate community.
If you're new to this wiki, we have several policies and guidelines which users are expected to follow, so please make use of the resources linked and review them. For starters, here are a few useful links for newcomers:

If you have any questions or discussion-related topics, there are several platforms on this wiki:
- Talk pages: A platform to discuss content on an article. They are not used to discuss the topic of the page. (i.e. Don't talk about why you love Jack Sparrow on Talk:Jack Sparrow)
- Connect with Pirates of the Caribbean fans on Blog posts.
- Get help, coordinate efforts, or otherwise chat with editors of PotC Wiki in our forums:
- Brethren Forum, the meeting place for the Pirate Lords of the Brethren Court.
- The Mystic's Shack, if you have a touch of destiny, this operates as a help desk.
- The Faithful Bride, for general discussion and chat.
Please remember that you should sign all comments on talk and vote pages with four tildes (~~~~) to create your signature and make your mark. You can also bring up any problems or questions you may have at this point with any of the PotC Wiki Administrators and Pirate Lords.
How can you help?
- Expand all stubs.
- Status: 8 remaining.
- Cleanup articles.
- Status: 410 to be expanded and 264 to be cleaned up.
- Add images to all articles needing images.
- Status: 420 remaining.
- Create new articles or redirect red-links to Wikipedia or other Fandoms.
- Status: 63 remaining.
- Find places to use unused images, or tag them for deletion if they are not needed.
- Categorize every uncategorized images, using the adequate sourcing and licensing format.

Admin To-Do list
This will mainly serve as a To-Do list for ongoing projects that PotC Wiki Administrators and Pirate Lords to keep check and focus on, if they have the time. Some of the following are strictly for admin to handle with care, but if offered, having more help and input from other users would be greatly appreciated. If you are unsure about certain changes, please contact an admin first! That way, we're all on the same page as far as what's best for PotC Wiki.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: An added * indicates contacting admin being absolutely necessary.
- Add {{FTBR}} to files (i.e. images) that are incoherent and necessary to change.
- Update articles with more or less unused information from books, such as Pirates of the Caribbean: The Complete Visual Guide.
- Add images from Thomas DuPont's website to articles.
- Create Joe Grisaffi article and add at least this source.
- Both expand/clean-up the Pirates of the Caribbean home video releases article to higher quality.
- Expand the Pirates of the Caribbean: Four-Movie Collection with full needed information.
- Expand the deleted scene-related content.
- Add images to the galleries.*
- Create a deleted scene article similar to Wookieepedia's article, just so we're not too reliant on the image galleries as our main sources.
- Expand Disney Pirates: The Definitive Collector's Anthology.
- Update videos and related content due to DisneyPirates YouTube channel being deleted.
- Update Disney+ and its gallery of images.*
- Create/Expand related articles necessary and agreed upon for PotC Wiki coverage.*
- Finishing touches on the Treasure Island main article. (i.e. Wordplay sources)
- Begin work on Peter Pan article and content.
- Expand The Muppets article and content.
- Create The Haunted Mansion article.
- Create The Little Mermaid article.
- Create A Pirate's Life for Me: Disney’s Rascals, Scoundrels, Really Bad Eggs article.
- Create articles on the necessary songs in the following albums:*
- Regarding video game-related content:
- Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow: expand the story section as well as polish the content in related articles. Merging is fairly possible here due to several continuity issues with The Curse of the Black Pearl and movies in general.
- Kingdom Hearts II/Kingdom Hearts III: polish content, mainly. Whether or not we need to merge the articles into one "Kingdom Hearts series" page or perhaps make a Kingdom Hearts category of some sort. The latter may be possible due to there being more than the two games in the franchise.
- Get together and talk about what to do for the 20th anniversary of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, if there is anything special to do outside of one or two blog posts.
- Update the following categories and related articles, files, and others if necessary:
- Update Wiki policies to current standards. Whether it is simply to update for higher quality OR relate to changes made involving the addition of Disney+ content, non-POTC content used for the Wiki (i.e. Treasure Island, Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, etc), and of course the current state of the Wiki given the current state of the franchise overall.*
